Lucidus has completed a redesign of the Cheshire Medical Center website (http://www.cheshire-med.com ). An important goal of this website project was to refresh the website's visual design and navigation, which are now remarkably enhanced.

This website project also involved the following:

• Collaboration with the in-house website team at Cheshire Medical Center to create a fresh, user-friendly design for their website. Except for where there were revisions or enhancements to the website, the content was preserved and migrated from the old design to the new.

• "Find a Physician or Provider," a searchable physician and provider database. Visitors can search by first name, last name or specialty and view short biographies to find the physician or provider of their choice.
• "Babies Online," a service providing the opportunity to announce the birth of a baby born at Cheshire Medical on the website. The baby's photograph,  first name, weight, length, date and hour of birth are listed. A family photo and personal comments can be included. Visitors can send a message of congratulations through Babies Online. 

Cheshire Medical Center was very pleased with the results of the project. According to Dawn Thomas-Smith, Web Developer at Cheshire Medical Center,"Lucidus has been an invaluable advisor and partner in our efforts to refresh our online presence. Their programming knowledge, rapid response time and industry advice have all been an important part of our process and progress." Cheshire Medical Center has decided to continue development of their website services, and has commissioned Lucidus to work on two new projects, a section focused on events registration and another for document distribution.
