George Washington University has selected Lucidus to develop a replacement for the Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) website. Direction and technical assistance for the Aligning Forces for Quality initiative are provided by The Center for Health Care Quality at The George Washington University Medical Center School of Public Health and Health Services, which serves as the national program office, (NPO).  AF4Q is a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation initiative which brings a commitment of resources, expertise and training to turn promising health and health care practices into real results on the ground in 14 communities.  Lucidus is very excited to work with The George Washington University on this important project. 

The Aligning Forces for Quality website will be designed to facilitate communication and cooperation among participants focused on improving healthcare quality.  The new website will be engaging, capturing the interest of visitors and direct them to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Quality/Equality website for more information.  This solution will use the Drupal content management system, strict security protocols, a robust search system and will support workflow among users.  In addition, AF4Q visitors will benefit by significantly increased usability from the new site.  The new capabilites and the use of the Drupal will significantly improve the total cost of ownership to the AF4Q initiative by providing a growing user base with the ability to perform regular content updates with minimal maintenance, in addition to a greater ease-of-use and access to features with minimal training.  The new website will launch by March 2009.

This contract award is Lucidus' first project for The George Washington University since earning a spot on the RWJF's Preferred Vendors List in October, and it's Lucidus's first engagement with our Nation's Capital area partner, Captus Communications, in McLean, Virginia.
