The Brattleboro Retreat has helped people find the strength to make positive life changes since 1834. Their focus is solving short-term problems for children, adolescents and adults, while building skills and strategies to last a lifetime.
The Brattleboro Retreat offers a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient programs and services. The center provide specialized mental health and addiction services for children and adolescents from ages 5 to 18. The Brattleboro Retreat's patient-centered adult services are for people ages 18 and older who want to resolve their problems and learn to function more successfully at home and in the community. The center works closely with individuals to assess particular needs and determine the optimal level of care. They provide an environment that is safe, structured, comfortable, and confidential.
The website project involved the following:
- Implementation and configuration of a Drupal content management system.
- Improved navigation and usability so visitors can quickly access content of the site and find what they are looking for.
- Site owners now are able to manage, edit, and regularly update their website with new content.
- Website includes an event calendar that displays upcoming events on the home page.
- Website includes an online form that begins the admissions process.
- In the next phase of its development, the website will next be updated with the ability to select classes and make registrations.
